This page lists web sites offering a wealth of economics lesson plans and information about economics topics. The web pages on this site for Wisconsin's K-12 Economics Standards link to many of these lessons, but not all of them. New lessons are always being added to sites, as well, and some may not be included.

 

Web Site	Description
Economics America	The National Council on Economic Education. This site features the national standards for economic education. This site connects to EconEdLink, which has links to a vast array of lessons relating to the national economics standards.
EconEdLink	Features of this site include: Building an economics lesson - Outlines a format for the development of a comprehensive lesson plan using the web. EconEdLetter - a monthly newsletter highlighting points of interest on the EconEdLink site, items of interest for web based learning and articles from EconEdLink users. and much more.
Foundation for Teaching Economics	(FTE) Sections for teachers, students, alumni, and funders. Lesson plans, programs, prizes, and tips for using the internet to teach economics.
Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago	Links to information and activities in the following categories: Interest, Credit, Debt, Money, and International Trade.
Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis	Their Economics Education site includes lessons and a section of Economic Challenges (quizzes).
Discovery School.Com	The Discovery Channel offers lesson plans on many topics including Economics.
Money Management International	This site has lessons about personal finance, designed for students from grades 3 to 6.
The World Bank	Issue-based lessons.
